As well as finding inspiration from magazines and street style, I find that watching my favourite movies stimulates my imagination to no end. Here are some of my style icons from a few of my favourite movies:

Enid from Ghostworld – played by Thora Birch

Lux Libson from The Virgin Suicides – played by Kirsten Dunst

Patricia Franchini from À Bout De Soufflé – played by Jean Seaburg

Penelope Carroll from Swing Time – played by Ginger Rogers

Barbara Novak from Down With Love – played by Renée Zellweger
Who are some of your style icons from favourite movies?

  3. Oh my, I love this entry! Enid is definitely a movie style icon for me. Eva Green in The Dreamers is on the list, and I love Selma Hyak's wardrobe in Frida, but then basically that's just saying that Frida Kahlo herself is my style icon! Oh, I'm impressed by a lot of the outfits from all the girls in 'Girl, Interrupted' too.
