Hello, I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas!

I desperately need a winter coat and some boots, because I'm going off to Stockholm for my birthday in January - so it will be FREEZING. I would really love a faux fur coat but I can't find one that's perfect, every time I see one I like it turns out to be real fur (which I am completely against).

Here are some coats that I like:

This green one was from a vintage website but I can't remember which one (mental note - start writing things down!). I love the shape of it, it looks quite Victorian.

I really love the shape of this cocoon coat from Asos.com, but because there is no definition of the waist, I have a feeling that from the side it would just make you look round!

I was also looking for some boots:

I love this skater style boot by Kurt Geiger; they would look great with a feminine style coat (vintage?) but they would also go with something a bit edgier too.

If I could marry a shoe, I would marry these ones by Moschino Cheap & Chic. I just love everything about them – the colour, the brogue style, the ribbon laces – they’re perfect. Plus, they would keep my toes warm!

Tomorrow I will be making a chocolate yule log, for the first time ever!
My mum even got a little robin to go on top :)

I can't wait for christmas! I still get just as excited as when I did when I was a kid. Here are some things I would like:

This book accompanies the exhibition at the V&A, which was heaven!

I think this dress by Reko is adorable. Infact, all of their dresses are! This Dansette record player. I absolutely love this necklace from Tatty Devine!

I have wanted this Lulu Guinness bag for SO long, but it's a bit out of my price range!

Ok, well I hope everybody has a wonderful christmas :)

I love love love Chloe Sevigny's style. It's always cute and quirky; and she manages to pull off outfits that us mere mortals would look absolutely ridiculous in!

These two outfits are my recent favourites:

And of course how could i write about cool style without mentioning Debbie Harry - the queen of cool.

Girls - i salute you!

Ok, so here is my first entry, and indeed my first blog - ever!

I choose to fill my space with snippets of things that excite and amuse me, and hopefully you too. Subjects that aren't really of great importance or consequence, but are just a little something to fill in those small moments between the big ones.
Something to share with your friends or maybe to keep for yourself and put it in your pocket for a rainy day.

:)
